Bok Man-heum (Go Doo-shim) sees a vision of a building engulfed in flames with Bok Gwi-ju (Jang Ki-yong) inside and warns him to stay away from Do Da-hae (Chun Woo-hee). Gwi-ju dismisses this, saying the fire happened long ago and shows Man-heum a ring identical to the one Da-hae has, down to the smallest scratch. He explains the ring has never left the safe. Man-heum is astonished as her dreams have never shown the past before.
Um Soon-goo (O Man-seok), who was scammed by Baek Il-hong (Kim Geum-sun), secretly takes a lottery ticket worth 2.3 billion won. He complains about the hardships he's faced in the family with supernatural powers, but Man-heum feels betrayed when she realizes it was her husband who took the ticket and angrily tells him to leave.
When Da-hae learns Il-hong has the ticket, she warns Gwi-ju that it's not her he needs to save but his family. She reveals Il-hong’s true target is Man-heum, who lays golden eggs through his prophetic dreams.
Bok Dong-hee (Claudia Kim) introduces her boyfriend to Man-heum, hoping to inherit the gym building upon marriage. However, she realizes he doesn't love her.
Man-heum remarks, "Even someone I thought shared my dreams turned out to be living in a different world. We're surrounded by scammers."
Dong-hee retorts, "You don't see how your dreams have been controlling our family. I’ll start my own family, just to get away from you."
Dong-hee, who has lived her life according to her mother’s visions, is angry and disappointed when her mother changes her stance.
Bok I-na (Park So-yi), who has been bullied at school, runs away. Despite searching all likely places with Hye-rim, Gwi-ju can't find her and decides to check the sauna. He realizes that I-na, always alone, hides behind her phone to avoid people’s gaze.
As Il-hong continues to see the Bok family as a golden goose to exploit, Da-hae reveals that she stayed with her mother out of pity, understanding the desperation of the mother clinging to her dead daughter’s memory. She vows to use everything she learned from Il-hong to repay her in the most brutal way if she touches the Bok family.
Future Gwi-ju warns of the danger I-na faces, locked in a gym storage room by Hye-rim, who is jealous after Jun-woo's confession to I-na. Gwi-ju rescues I-na and asks why she was there.
I-na replies, "Do I really have to go to school? ... There are too many eyes."
Feeling it was better when she was invisible, I-na resents Da-hae. She tried to be friends with Hye-rim but doesn't understand what went wrong. Da-hae shares her own experience of feeling invisible and being found in a burning gym.
Da-hae says, "Someone will come for you, even through the flames. Don't be too afraid of the people coming for you. What you hear might just be a tiny piece of their many-layered hearts."
Da-hae advises Gwi-ju to look I-na in the eyes instead of scolding her. Following this advice, Gwi-ju's silent apology brings I-na to tears.
Gwi-ju thinks, 'I'm awkward and unsure how to connect with you, but I'll try. From now on, I'll spend time with you. The moment you were born was the best time of my life, and I want to reclaim that.'
I-na, who can hear her father's thoughts, admits she wishes her ability would go away.
I-na says, "The moment that consumed you also consumed mom."
Blaming herself for the accident after sensing her mother's feelings, she breaks down in tears, revealing her deeply hidden guilt.
Waking up in the sauna, Man-heum tells Il-hong it feels like her deceased daughter is alive, a tactic advised by Da-hae to unsettle Il-hong.
Gwi-ju teaches I-na to ride a bike, feeling happy as she succeeds. Jun-woo approaches I-na as she rides, apologizing and promising to try harder to keep his distance if that's what she needs, asking her not to run away.
I-na confesses, "I like you too."
Man-heum wakes up screaming, crying to her estranged husband that Gwi-ju is going to die.
Gwi-ju, thanks to Da-hae, can reclaim the time when I-na was born.
Gwi-ju says, "Now it's time to save you with that happiness. I waited 13 years to meet you and love you like this."
He vows to protect his family, including Da-hae, giving her a ring.
Gwi-ju: "This is the ring I gave you 13 years ago, and the ring I’ll give you in the future."
