Queen of Tears: Episode 3 Recap

Hyun-woo quickly handles a wild boar that appears before Hae-in and helps her escape the hunting grounds. As he carries the injured Hae-in to her family, Seul-hee, Man-dae's live-in girlfriend, mentions that the hunting area once belonged to Hae-in’s grandfather. She explains that a shaman warned of ominous signs on the day of the hunt, so fortunately, he didn’t go. Did something happen to Hae-in instead of her grandfather?

Is there a power struggle within the family? As Hyun-woo discovers that someone deliberately cut the hunting ground’s fence, he begins to suspect everyone who knew about the hunt.

Man-dae expresses interest in a clever dog owned by the nearby gamekeeper and suggests buying it. However, the gamekeeper refuses, stating that the dog is family. Eun-sung, also known as the famous investor David Yoon, secretly visits the gamekeeper, offering 100 million won for the dog, which the gamekeeper cannot resist.

The next day, the gamekeeper changes his mind and returns the money to Eun-sung, stating he won't trade the dog after all. In that moment, Eun-sung’s expression hints at a connection to Jeon Jae-jun from "The Glory." One thing is clear: Eun-sung is not playing a good role.

Hyun-woo and Hae-in are a couple, but is it really that uncomfortable for them to be in the same space? The whole family should be at the hunting grounds, yet now Hyun-woo and Hae-in find themselves awkwardly sharing a room.

What has happened to their relationship? Hyun-woo feels extremely uncomfortable near Hae-in, yet she can't shake the memory of how he saved her from the boar.

Chairman Man-dae checks the hunting ground’s CCTV to identify who may be plotting against him and spots a suspicious person and vehicle. Meanwhile, the gamekeeper recalls an old memory with his wife and remembers the "boy who killed a dog" was Eun-sung.

The townspeople were shocked by how the boy showed no emotion when he killed the dog, and now that the boy is Eun-sung! He seems to be playing the role of a psychopath again.

Hae-in finds herself empathizing with someone and even thinks her husband looks handsome, leading her to visit a hospital as her mind feels off. The emotions she is experiencing are normal for others, but Hae-in, who has never lived like that, is facing death at this moment!

Eun-sung meets with Hae-in under the pretense of offering her a good business deal. While Hae-in steps away briefly, he deliberately turns off her phone. When Hyun-woo learns through her secretary that Hae-in is meeting Eun-sung, he gets angry when Eun-sung brings a disoriented Hae-in home. Eun-sung begins to subtly provoke Hyun-woo to drive a wedge between him and Hae-in.

Hyun-woo later hears that his sister Mi-seon went to find Hae-in and discovers she texted his wife asking her not to get a divorce. However, Hae-in is unaware that Hyun-woo is considering divorce... What should he do? He must delete that message!

As Hyun-woo rushes to stop Hae-in from checking her phone, she feels a surge of excitement, and they share a kiss.

Their relationship hasn’t always been bad. Four years ago, when they were dating, they were very close; Hyun-woo was caring, and Hae-in wasn’t as cold as she is now. Has their marriage changed them to this extent? Has his anger towards Hae-in led him to wish for her death?
