I-na tells Hye-rim, who had become an outcast after locking her in the warehouse, that she needs her and asks her to join the dance competition together.
Grace recommends Hyung-tae as a trainer at the gym, and Dong-hee's heart skips a beat when she sees his neat appearance.
Dong-hee's ex-fiancé threatens Dong-hee saying he will release a video of her flying if she doesn’t marry him, but she remains resolute.
Man-heum has another premonition dream of a big fire at school.
Da-hae is shocked when she notices a spot on Gwi-ju's neck. She suggests informing the family, but Gwi-ju insists on keeping it a secret until after I-na's important day tomorrow. Da-hae eventually despairs when her fears become reality.
Gwi-ju: "We decide when we part ways, not fate. We'll stay together until we're ninety-nine. Nothing has changed."
Man-heum apologizes to Dong-hee for having another bad dream. She saw her daughter flying in front of everyone at the performance.
Dong-hee: "This is a chance. A chance to change the future. I’m going to the performance. I won’t fly no matter what. If I can do that, I can save Gwi-ju too."
On the day of the performance, I-na, waiting for her father, asks Da-hae if something has happened to him. She insists he will come no matter what.
I-na: "Dad always said, even if it looks like the end, it’s not. There's always something next. A funeral without a body. I believe that wasn’t the end. It’s just taking some time for Dad to come back."
Dong-hee receives a text from her ex-fiancé asking her to come to the dressing room. Meanwhile, Gwi-ju is checking the shortest route to the warehouse where high school Da-hae was in the past. Luckily, he arrives at the performance venue before it starts, much to I-na's joy.
Standing on stage, I-na feels nervous under the many eyes watching her. Jun-woo, taking off her glasses, tells her to only look at him and dance, calming her down. I-na wants to tell her father something through this performance.
I-na: "Dad, can you see? I have friends who look me in the eye. I'm not invisible. I have color now. So don’t worry about me. I love you, Dad!"
After the performance, I-na reconciles with Hye-rim, becoming real friends. I-na realizes that just as she wanted to be liked by Hye-rim, Hye-rim also wanted to be liked by her. Hye-rim admits she felt hurt that I-na never shared her feelings, as friends should.
Da-hae recalls that Gwi-ju, who came from the future to warn her when I-na was trapped in the gym, was wearing the same clothes as the present Gwi-ju. Staring at the spot on Gwi-ju's neck, she feels pained by their unchangeable fate. Gwi-ju tells her that going to save her is his choice, and they should continue making choices without denying their past decisions.
Gwi-ju: "If we can’t change the future, we make the next future. Don’t be defeated by bad dreams, but light up the future."
Dong-hee's ex, angry that she doesn't accept his surprise proposal, threatens to burn everything down with gasoline.
Dong-hee: "What I loved about you was your timidity. You’re a bad guy but not a wicked one, just a clumsy bad guy...that was cute."
Man-heum realizes her prophetic dream was about a fire at today’s performance. After Gwi-ju goes to the past, Da-hae hurriedly searches for I-na. Dong-hee's ex accidentally starts a big fire while handling gasoline. Dong-hee flies up and lowers the fire curtain with her own choice.
As Da-hae tries to find I-na, she nearly gets crushed by the collapsing building, but Gwi-ju shields her. Under the rubble, Gwi-ju returns to the time I-na was born and runs to where Da-hae is.
Gwi-ju: "You’re not alone. Even when you thought you were alone, you weren’t. Not just me, you’ll meet everyone soon. We’ll go through tough times, but looking back, all our times together will be happy. Until then, don’t lose this ring. Remember, it’s not the end. It’s the beginning."
On the day of I-na's performance, there are no injuries except for one missing person. Da-hae has a baby boy, Nuri, and lives to wait for what's next. Today, I-na is coming home from the dormitory. Man-heum dreams there’s one more spoon at the table and tells Da-hae to set an extra place. Nuri is playing with a lost ball he found. When Da-hae asks where he got it, he says he brought it from yesterday.
Da-hae: "Can you bring something from the past?"
Nuri: "What's the past?"
Da-hae: "Like yesterday."
Nuri: "Do you have something you want to bring?"
Da-hae: "Something I lost a long time ago. Can you find that too?"
Nuri: "How long ago?...Yesterday's yesterday?"
Da-hae shows a picture of his father missing a long time ago.
Da-hae: "Can you bring back Dad?"
Nuri stares at the picture for a while and then goes back to playing. As Da-hae is about to leave the room, she feels something strange and turns around. There, holding Nuri's hand, Gwi-ju has returned.
