Practical Korean with Jinmiyoung 23. Wait, what?

Wait, what?

그게 말이야 막걸리야. [ geu-ge mal-i-ya mak-geol-li-ya]

When you hear something nonsense, crazy, absurd, or insane, you can say like this. You can use 방귀 instead of 막걸리.

그게[geu-ge]: it; that.
말[mal]: word; language; what one says; a remark
막걸리[mak-geol-li]: raw rice wine; a Korean alcoholic beverage that is milky, off-white and slightly sweet, tangy, bitter, astringent
방귀[bang-gwi]: fart; gas; wind.
