Choi Min Woo (Ju Ji Hoon) is so stiff that he can hardly move to look at Seo Eun Ha (Soo Ae) floating in the water because he experienced trauma due to his drowned mother when he was young. Min Seok Hoon (Yeon Jung Hoon) saves her and the lady is taken to a hospital in a coma. Seok Hoon tells a doctor not to say anything about the patient's condition.
Seok Hoon thought of talking with the woman who is unfaithful to him about her doppelganger asks a secretary to find the double and keep an eye on the movements of her. He finds that Byun Ji Sook (Soo Ae) is a poor salesperson being hounded by loan sharks into paying her father's crippling debt.
Meanwhile, Min Woo and his people look at the CCTV footage to check what happened was, but the most important scene was already deleted.
The secretary keeping a close watch on Ji Sook waiting for Min Woo in a department store to take her money back sees Choi Mi Yeon (Yoo In Young)'s brother approaching her and calls Seok Hoon urgently. He brings her to a parking lot at the dictation of the boss saying Min Woo is waiting for her in another place. She is on the point of getting in a car when the phone rings from Min Woo and she smells a rat and runs away.
Just before she shows up for the appointment again, Min Woo found a lady wearing a necklace that looks like his mother follows the woman as if he is possessed. Ji Sook chases him and Seok Hoon follows close behind her.
Min Woo recalls a doctor's advice that an old memory can be manipulated as he sees not his mother but a young man in the car which he is chasing. He cannot concentrate on driving and meets with an accident all of a sudden. He knows by intuition that someone doped into his water bottle.
Ji Sook transfers him to a hospital and stays his side looking at him suffering from nightmares. Seok Hoon followed behind them makes an offer the poor worker live Eun Ha's live-giving her a bunch of money back. She gives a flat refusal to his suggestion, but she starts to agonize over the debt after she sees her parents' devastating restaurant by loan sharks.
On the other hand, Min Woo tries hypnosis to remember what he had done and he is really scared of his behavior when he realizes that he throttled Eun Ha with his bare hands. However, he can't believe that he tried to kill her.
She visits an office of the money brokers and witnesses murder by chance. The loan sharks drive the dead body and the eyewitness to somewhere in the mountains. They looked shy on a car following them take a byway and stop. The bad guys feel much better looking at the car going straight, but Ji Sook is shocked at Seok Hoon sitting on the back seat.
The vicious moneylenders hear the dead body groaning and get out of the car to check him. Ji Sook drives herself off their guard and tries to run away. One of a moneylender who got back inputs handcuffs on her wrist and the steering wheel. She turns the handle right before she knocks an elk and the car hanging on the edge of a precipice puts her in peril of death.
Seok Hoon asks her to think about his suggestion on the phone not delivering her out of danger. Ji Sook has no choice but to accept the proposal, but he leaves the car falls down the precipice.
After the car falls flop into the water, she has the handcuffs removed and gets out of the car. She sees a man swimming toward her in the water.
The next day, Min Woo goes to the hospital to see Eun Ha. When he looks down her lying on the bed, she opens her eyes and stares at him.
