Han Jeong Ho (Yoo Jun Sang) and Choi Yeon Hee (Yoo Ho Jeong) said they will take Seo Bom (Go Ah Sung) as their family after she pass the bar exam.
Han In Sang (Lee Joon) took his wife's side was struck on the head and all over body from his father.
Ironically, Han Jeong Ho was happy and excited because his son and daughter-in-law refuted his theory head-on by law.
He even directed his secretary to find a way to manufacture his in-laws' previous family history.
I was impressive that the secretary said to her junior staff."Secretaryship is a composite art."
It's real black comedy. :)
The rich couple's employees had a party and everybody got drunk at the piss-up when the couple left a house empty. Han Jeong Ho (Yoo Jun Sang) and Choi Yeon Hee (Yoo Ho Jeong) made domestic scenes and came home all of a sudden.
But they all quickly changed clothes and received the couple in the hall. Han Jeong Ho directed the secretary to bring his son and daughter-in-law staying in Seo Bom's parents house.
In fact, he and his wife wants to see their granddaughter. lol
Han Jeong Ho quarreled with Seo Bom's father on the phone about taking the young couple home. Finally daughter-in law and granddaughter came home and Han In Sang stayed in his father-in law's house.
Treat fairly?? lol
The last scene of the drama made me smile though.
The hypocritical couple was ordinary grandparents who love their little baby.
Heard It Through the Grapevine focused on the attitudes and manners of the upper classes having double-sided character, however, it's funny and not heavy.
