Bok Gwi-ju (Jang Ki-yong) feels bewildered as his father returns and his parents smoothly accept each other, causing an unexpected situation.
Upon hearing Bok Man-heum (Go Doo-shim)'s dream of Gwi-ju dying, Da-hae is shocked. Man-heum promises to do everything to make Gwi-ju's remaining time happy, even agreeing to welcome Da-hae into the family, even if she ends up marrying a scammer for the sake of their son.
Bok I-na (Park So-yi) and Jun-woo open their hearts and start dating. Meanwhile, following I-na being locked in a warehouse, school friends start suspecting Hye-rim's duplicity.
Man-heum tells Bok Dong-hee (Claudia Kim) that once Gwi-ju is gone, the building she coveted will be hers.
Dong-hee: "You dreamed of this... stealing the future through dreams... am I the only greedy one? Isn't Mom getting punished for her greed? Just making me look like this would have been enough."
Shaken by Man-heum's dream, Dong-hee resents her, believing Mom's dream is about killing Gwi-ju.
Gwi-ju spends happy times with Da-hae and I-na, although Da-hae conceals her feelings. They travel to the sea and cherish their time together, but during a brief moment when Gwi-ju seems to lapse into the past, a car accident happens. Upon Gwi-ju's return, Da-hae is missing. Despite an extensive search, only her jacket is found, leading to the search being called off.
Gwi-ju confronts Baek Il-hong (Kim Geum-sun), shouting if she caused Da-hae to become like that. Il-hong, on the other hand, resents Gwi-ju, questioning why he couldn't save her despite having superpowers.
Witnessing a repeat of the accident pattern from seven years ago, Dong-hee finds solace in believing Gwi-ju might not die. Saddened, I-na confesses that Da-hae was the first person she wasn't scared to look at, asking Dad and Aunt to find Da-hae.
Gwi-ju, having returned to the past, tells Da-hae about the impending accident. Despite this, when the reality doesn't change, I-na feels something is off and seeks out Noh Hyung-tae (Choi Gwang-rok). He then shows her Da-hae's location through his vision. It turns out that Da-hae had staged the car accident with Hyung-tae's help to fake her death to save Gwi-ju.
With I-na's help, Gwi-ju finds Da-hae.
Da-hae: "You're going to die. So go back. Don't stay by my side. Stay with I-na. You promised your daughter you’d be with her. Even if you can barely breathe, stay alive. It's better than you not being here at all."
Gwi-ju: "I thought you were a foolish scammer, but you’re a fool. I'm sorry, but I can't endure what you ask me. I can't be without you. I love you!"
