Gwon Jae Hee (Nam Goong Min) packs his books and money to get a getaway, but Choi Mu Gak (Park Yoo Chun) points a gun at the serial killer. As he continues to sneer at and provoke the detective quoting the murdered sister Choi Eun Sul, Mu Gak shoots the criminal in the abdomen.
The chef who took a bullet desperately run away, but he finally caught by Detective Ki (Jo Hee Bong) and another detective pointing guns in front of the front door as soon as the criminal opens it.
Yeum Mi (Yoon Jin Seo) is carried to the hospital by ambulance and she brings back from the brink of death.
Mu Gak feels full after eating two portions of Chinese food and Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) is overjoyed with him regained sensation.
The boyfriend wakes up to the sound of his girlfriend's sobs because of her horrible nightmare. The stimulus jogs her memories and Cho Rim woke up from the nightmare falls all the pieces into place. Mu Gak embraces her warmly.
Yeom Mi who is discharged from the hospital let Mu Gak burn same shaped books under the very eyes of the barcode serial killer who has had the right to remain silent.
"Please don't! They are my most precious things. Don't do that. I will tell you everything I did." the criminal covered with confusion wails looking at the burning books.
The case is transferred to the district attorney from the police and the special investigation team is disbanded. Mu Gak buys a ring to make a formal proposal of marriage to Cho Rim. And he brings her to a charnel house where her parents and his sister's bones are placed before he proposes her.
Mu Gak writes a sentence 'Will you marry me?' in the air with spraying her perfume. She willingly accepts forming a big ring with her arms over her head. He kisses her on the lips.
Cho Rim has another nightmare about his boyfriend's murder by Jae Hee. Mu Gak sets her at ease saying that he cannot harm her anymore.
However, Mu Gak is surprised at the news about a patrol bus plunged into the Hangang River because its left rear tire went flat while he was escorted. The search for Gwon and the other policemen continues for about five days, but eventually, it is called off for no gain.
The team members have especially promoted one rank and they return to their normal lives. Mu Gak hands in his notice to work on an aquarium again.
On the couple's wedding day...
The door of the waiting room for the bride opens and Jae Hee comes in and congratulates on her wedding. She takes fright at him.
