I'd never enjoyed eating Kalguksu before I came to Seoul for university. During my first year at the school, I luckily had a chance to visit Myeongdong Gyoja and gastronomically I had an exciting experience. The fifty-year-old restaurant is still the best for me.

Tips! Your lips feel like they are burning and your breath smells of garlic when you eat spicy Kimchi too much.
I usually ask the waitress a small bowl of rice and mix it with soup and eat them with rinsed garlic Kimchi in cold water. It tastes heavenly.

This is a former president Kim Young-sam's favorite noodle restaurant. The politician is well known as a big fan of Guksu(noodles).
