Hawi (Lee Yeon Hee) admits to Heo Gyun (Ahn Nae Sang) that she also follows the same ends with him. Concealing her identity, she introduces herself as a brother of a court lady who had ended her life on the ferry and the person who dropped the beads in front of Gyeongungung. She cynically asks back the violent explosion isn't a good reason she is prejudiced against Gwanghae (Cha Seung Won). He doesn't know if he should believe the young master artisan.
The envoy's provocative action touches off a heated debate about the dispatch of troops between the King and the subject. There is no logical reason for the conservatives to oppose the opinion of Gwanghae.
Heo Gyun tells Kang Joo Sun (Jo Sung Ha) that he set Hawi free to use Queen Inmok (Shin Eun Jung) to enmesh Gwanghae in difficulties. Kang In Woo (Han Joo Wan) begins to get suspicious about Heo Gyun visits his father's house in secret. He follows him and gets to know that he has some sort of dirty trick up his sleeve and he let Hawi relate with the political ploy.
Hawi is on the point of leaving when Hong Joo Won (Seo Kang Joon) enters the house and he rejoices at seeing her. Giving him a document about a method of smelting sulfur with steam, she leaves the house saying she will be harmed on workers in Hawgidogam and him. Joo Won looking fixedly at the white bracelet runs out to gift her with it, but she had already gone.
Ink cannot cover her confusion after she saw Gwanghae and she pledges herself to bloody revenge again. An arrow is stuck fast in a wooden column in Gyeongungung and court ladies find a letter for the Queen. After reading it, the Queen sneaks out of the house to meet a guy who knows about the beads and arrives at an appointed place. The ink becomes aware that she stumbles onto a political conspiracy looking at many allies showing her letters from her, but it is too late to run away due to the royal forces. Hawi arrived at Gyeongungung realizes that the mother and the daughter have walked into the trap of Heo Gyun and the Queen is branded as a rebel.
Heo Gyun smiles faintly when he hears the news about the Queen's arrest. Yi Icheom (Jung Woong In) doesn't stop doubt about his political rival.
Meanwhile, Gyeongungung makes his meaning crystal clear expressing his refusal in a determined voice. The envoy shouts threats at the King of the weak nation and the negotiations break down. The King rushes back to the palace at the news of conspiracy.
In Woo forces, Heo Gyun tells the truth threatening him with a knife and he says what she told him. In Woo considers that Hawi might be the Princess Jeongmyeong remembering that she said the lost bracelet is a gift from her mother. He bumps into Hawi who rushes to find Joo Won for help and asks her what her true name. She stammers in confusion and he asks her again with tears in his eyes if she is Jeongmyeong. Hawi is perplexed by what he said and Joo Won approaches her calling her name 'Hawi.'
