Lee Ufan's 'Correspondence' introduced in JTBC Non-Summit.
It's $1.7 billion worth of painting. Wow~ :)
I've to remember seen his paintings in a gallery before. But I've never known the paintings were so expensive. :(
Guess! Which one is the expensive painting?
The answer is No.1. :)
No.2 is painted by Julian and sold for $10 to Yoo Se Yoon. lol
Who is Lee Ufan?
As a painter, Lee contributed to 'Korean Monotone Art, the first artistic movement in 20th century Korea to be promoted in Japan. He advocates a methodology of de-westernization and demodernization in both theory and practice as an antidote to the Eurocentric thought of the 1960s postwar Japanese society. (from Wikipedia)
Let's appreciate his paintings!
